Boundary 2019

When people create standard operating procedures in the pursuit of profit, it profoundly affects the vitality of life across the world. Unknowingly, it limits the way individuals think about the value of life, narrowing the imagination of happiness. Humanity seems to become like roosters trapped in a system, forced to compete and fight within the confines of a small concrete jungle. Nevertheless, we can still hope for a day when we achieve a balance between structure and freedom, becoming truly liberated individuals who can spread their wings and soar.

 

This series interprets four stages—Capitalism, Seeing, No Future No Past, and Everything is born with wings—through four photographs taken by the artist during street explorations in Myanmar and Thailand. By engaging in a dialogue with life through travel, the artist captures the potential of existence.
